This 17th century house of the Marquis of Villarena has become a luxurious, historical dwelling which includes four independent apartments, one room and two annexes, furnished in the ancient, sober and elegant style of this aristocratic family. The entrance to the house, with its Moresque patio adorned with majestic stone arches, is located right in the heart of Nerano.
The names of the various apartments refer to the islands seen from this entrancing corner of the coast. They are: the Gallo Lungo with private garden, the Brigante, the Isca, the Rotonda and the Vetara; each of which faces the sea. A large panoramic solarium amidst fragrant fruit trees surrounds the swimming pool .
The garden is on three levels in the typical style of the area around Sorrento. It has scenic views of shady vineyards, an admirable view of the gulf of Salerno, and a nice playground reserved for children.
The Residence also has another entrance located opposite the car park which is useful when carrying luggage.
